During my 20+ years in my corporate HR career I burnt out a few times. It’s what led me to personally invest in wellbeing education & self development. Mindful HR was created with an intention to integrate mindfulness & embodiment services for individuals in the workplace.

Navigating life during the pandemic & beyond created an upheaval in everyone’s lives. It’s no longer business as usual for any of us. How we work is forever changed, and we need resources & tools to help us navigate a new way to work that is human-centered & sustainable.

In the last few post-pandemic years I’ve moved through challenging health issues and processing the grief of my dad’s death. These challenging life events re-reminded me how hard it is to take care of others at work and at home when we ourselves feel overwhelmed and under-resourced. In relation to the work I do with individuals in HR, I’ve often thought:

I’ve learned to watch for & work with my tendencies to be overly responsible for everyone else. I’m clear that it’s not my job to take care of HR people, but rather a privilege to offer services that develop embodied individuals who inspire, empower and create an environment for people to flourish in the workplace. 

I truly believe mindfulness tools, embodiment practices and community connection are transformative resources that support individuals to effectively manage stress & flourish in all areas of life.


Mindful Resourcing for Individuals in HR

I know how demanding the holidays and 4th quarter can be so I’ve designed three 30-minute sessions for individuals working in HR to de-stress and recharge. Join me for one or all of the monthly online donation-based sessions. Details below…

Who? Individuals who work in HR/ People functions in all organizations

What? Each session will be an experience of practical wellbeing tools that you can integrate into your workday. I’ll draw upon my education and experience in the areas of embodied mindfulness, meditation & somatic experiencing to create a mini-practice that will leave you feeling recharged and empowered to take on the day. 

When? The 2024 holiday season: Tuesday Oct 29th, Tuesday Nov. 19th & Tuesday Dec. 10th 

Time? 9am PST/ 12pm EST/ 5pm BST/ 7pm EEST

Where? We’ll gather online via zoom, without the pressure to perform or consistently be on camera.

What to expect: Space to breathe a little deeper, time to unwind and tend to your needs, learn about & practice with tools to help you effectively manage stress & nourish your nervous system. Come as you are, no special equipment or clothing is required.

Cost? Contribute what you can afford. Suggested donation of $15-30 per session.
